Rules for Doing Laundry

Rule #1 - If any daughter is coming home from college for the weekend, make sure you get your clothes in the washer on Friday morning. Otherwise, you will have to wait until late Sunday night.

Rule #2 - Have at least two pairs of the same style of socks. That way you can have a rotating pair, with alternating single socks disappearing and reappearing at random times.

Rule #3 - If you have an article of clothing you haven't seen in a while, look at the bottom of the dirty clothes basket.

Alternate Title for the Blog

I know this blog is a trip 'Into the Dukeness', but it could also be called 'Tales of the Yuppie Redneck (YUPR). True to my piscean nature, I tend to constantly swim in the alternating directions of professional urbanite and down-home super-goober (would that be ubergoober?)

I'm going to call this a work-in-progress. But I'll start by mentioning that I can as comfortably eat...

sashimi with chopsticks at Wasabi, or...

bacon-cheeseburger with everything, fries and chili (even dipping the fries into the chili bowl... using only fingers too!)
